Elim Glorious Ministry is Spirit-filled, non-denominational with a heart for revival, worship, and reaching all nations with the love of God. While our fellowship began with Tamil believers, we are a family open to people of every culture and background. Our desire is that all who come will encounter God’s presence, grow in faith through His Word, and be equipped to serve others with the joy and hope found in Jesus Christ.
In July 2022, a small group of Tamil believers in Edmonton began gathering for prayer, worship, and fellowship. What began as a simple prayer gathering gradually grew into a spiritual community of believers seeking the presence of God and a deeper walk with Him. During this early season, the fellowship functioned without a formally appointed pastor, yet the Lord faithfully sustained and strengthened the believers through unity, prayer, and shared faith.
During this time, Bro. Joshua Hananiah ministered among the fellowship as a guest preacher, teaching the Word of God and encouraging believers to pursue a Spirit-filled Christian life. Through the faithful ministry of the Word and prayer, a strong spiritual foundation was established, and a growing hunger for revival and obedience to God’s purposes developed within the fellowship.
In June 2025, after prayerful consideration and under the leading of the Holy Spirit, the fellowship willingly came under the vision and mission of Elim Glorious Ministry, founded by Pastor Joshua Hananiah. While honoring its Tamil roots, the fellowship embraced a broader calling to serve people from all cultures and backgrounds. United under one vision and one mission, the church continues to grow as a place of spiritual refreshing, renewal, and transformation.
Today, Elim Glorious Ministry stands as a testimony to God’s faithfulness and guidance. With one heart, one vision, and one mission, the church moves forward to glorify Jesus Christ, strengthen families, raise disciples, and proclaim the Gospel so that lives are transformed and nations are reached.
From humble beginnings to a Spirit-filled ministry, Elim Glorious Ministry continues to be a place of refreshing – just as the waters of Elim in Scripture renewed God’s people. Our story is not just about us; it is about telling His story-the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ-so that lives are transformed, families restored, and nations reached.

Our vision is to be a Spirit-filled church where lives are refreshed, families are restored, and nations are reached with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. We envision a church alive with God’s presence—a place of revival and refreshing where people from every culture and generation encounter His love, grow in His Word, and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry the message of hope to the world.
Faith Statement
Elim Glorious Ministry – upholds the Bible as the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority in faith and life. We believe in one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and in the divinity and redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Salvation comes through faith in Christ alone, and we practice Baptism and Communion as sacred ordinances. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for service and spiritual growth. The Church is the Body of Christ, called to spread the Gospel, serve one another, and live in unity. We anticipate Christ’s return and the renewal of all things in His Kingdom.
